Throughout this session, experts from these regions will explore how global cooperation can enhance the standardization process, drawing on their collective experiences to provide insights into shaping effective international standards that meet the demands of an interconnected world.
Agenda:
  • Introduction: Franck Le Gall (EGM/INPACE) will open the session with a welcome and overview of the webinar.
  • Overview of International Standardizations – Linking Research and Standardization: Antonio Kung (Trialog)will explore how research plays a critical role in shaping and evolving international standards, offering insights into the ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between academic research and practical standardization processes.
  • Indian Standardisation System and how it is linked with Research: Dinesh Chand Sharma (SESEI) will focus on the Indian Standardisation System’s role in fostering innovation, quality, and consistency in research. He will highlight how standards in India align with global research frameworks, enhancing the credibility and impact of Indian research outputs. Sharma will also discuss the SESEI project’s contributions in bridging Indian and European standardisation efforts to promote research collaboration and development.
  • Q&A: A live question-and-answer session will follow, allowing participants to engage with the speakers and gain deeper insights into the topics discussed.
