Interfacing, Interactions, and Integration in Quantum Photonics
Solid-state quantum emitters have attracted much attention as an integrated source of photonic and spin qubits, which are basic elements for a range of quantum applications.
Recent advances in the interfacing, interacting, and integrating of these emitters demonstrate a variety of quantum resources: bright quantum light sources, many-body quantum interaction, and miniaturized quantum devices. In particular, introducing nanophotonic cavities or waveguides increases efficiency and adds quantum functionalities.
Given their high performance and scalability, quantum emitters are taking the next stages towards scalable, integrated quantum systems on photonic integrated chips or fiber optics. Therefore, all quantum operations are efficiently possible in real-world photonic platforms.
In this talk, Prof. Jehyung Kim will present recent races and future challenges in scalable, integrated quantum resources for quantum photonics.
