OASEES: Advancing EU edge AI with privacy-first swarm programmability & ID federation

OASEES (Greece) is about making smart devices work together without depending on big central companies. Today, most connected devices (like sensors, robots, or smart machines) send their data to large cloud platforms owned by a few companies.

These companies control how data is stored, processed, and even how devices prove who they are. This means users often lose control over their own data and identity. OASEES wants to change this. It creates an open and decentralised system where many devices can work together directly at the “edge” (close to where data is created), instead of always relying on the cloud. Devices can securely identify themselves, share data, and make decisions together, while people can still step in when human judgment is needed. The goal is to give users more control, better privacy, and more flexibility, while still allowing powerful and fast data processing using advanced hardware (like AI chips). OASEES PLATFORM can be used in many areas, such as robotics, smart cities, energy systems, and environmental monitoring.

LAMETRIC X: Edge-to-cloud platform that helps OEMs and ISVs launch secure IoT solutions faster across multiple industries

LaMetric (UK) makes smart screens that turn live data into something you can actually see and understand. They started with a pixel-style smart clock, then created smart lights and large screens that show things like energy use, weather, or solar power in real time. Their newest product shows solar energy data on big displays in places like offices or schools — so people can instantly see how much clean energy is being produced and how much CO₂ is saved.

Behind all of this is LaMetric’s own technology platform, which connects to many energy devices and updates the screens automatically. Companies can even rebrand the solution as their own.

LaMetric helps both homeowners and businesses make solar energy tangible, visible, and engaging.

TWIN·PICKS (STELLIO): Open-source platform that orchestrates data from IoT, GIS, and digital twins to optimise urban and environmental services

EGM (France) helps governments and businesses make better decisions using data. They design smart systems that collect information from sensors and connected devices, then turn that data into clear and useful insights. EGM works in areas like smart cities, water management, agriculture, aquaculture, and industry. They help from start to finish: designing the technology, building it, connecting the data, and making sure it works in real life.

Its flagship open-source platform Twin·Picks orchestrates data from IoT, GIS, and digital twins to optimise urban and environmental services. Built on the Stellio context broker, fully compliant with ETSI and FIWARE standards, Twin·Picks connects data producers and consumers through a unified, scalable core ensuring interoperability across domains.

By transforming complex data flows into actionable insights, Twin·Picks helps public authorities, service providers, and businesses optimise operations, reduce costs, and deliver smarter services to citizens.
Its applications span smart cities, water management, agriculture, and environmental monitoring, driving sustainable development through reliable, standardised data.

GAIA PROTOCOL – GAIA FOR COMPANIES: Trustworthy AI for Cities and Companies – from climate plans to measurable results

Gaia is the world’s first distributed, verifiable, ethics-first platform for climate action led by One Terrene International (OTI, Cyprus). It is designed to help cities and citizens meet net-zero goals. Gaia validates real-world actions through a system of traceable logic, blockchain integrity, and behavioural science.
Gaia is powered by AeonCore-G, an advanced simulation and validation engine engineered to model and track regenerative impact in real time. This platform was built for cities, citizens, institutions and industry, but it is not owned by anyone. Gaia is founded on seven non-negotiable principles:

  1. Proof over promises
  2. Ethics over speculation
  3. Transparency over opacity
  4. Participation over permission
  5. Regeneration over reduction
  6. Open science over secrecy
  7. Equity over exclusion

Gaia is heading to be a full Earth Operating System, verifying impact, powering trust, and accelerating action. Ambitious, isn’t it?

MOOVE: NFT-powered ticketing platform designed to eliminate scalping and fraud while ensuring transparent, traceable, and fair event experiences

Guarantable (Republic of Korea) is a technology company that develops secure blockchain-based solutions for real-world assets and event management.
Guarantable aims to create a healthy NFT-native ecosystem. They explore, experiment, and develop NFT technologies tailored to users and various industries, enabling anyone to participate in content production and monetisation. In one word, Guarantable is connecting Web 3.0-based blockchain technologies to our daily lives.

MOOVE NFT Ticket Solution eliminates scalping and fraud. Digital tickets ensure that artists build deeper relationships with true fans. MOOVE suggests to say goodbye to unethical pricing practices. NFT tickets are purpose-built for security, limit transfers, and ensure transparent pricing. MOOVE goes beyond event access, enabling fan-artist connections independently of any single social media platform. Dynamic QR codes, changing automatically every few seconds, prevent unauthorised use and enhances security. Anyone can check the validity and price of a ticket.

Each NFT ticket tracks data through its lifecycle, from issuance to scanning and beyond. Keeping you better informed through behavioural insights on what happens to your tickets post-sale. This technology utilises a number of techniques to eliminate scalping and put secondary market activity back in the rightful hands of event organisers. As a result, it empowers artists, event organisers, and fans to build deeper relationships.

SEDIMARK: Demonstrating privacy-preserving data exchange and AI services across EU data spaces

SEDIMARK (Spain) is a marketplace that allows organisations to share, access, and use data, digital services, and AI tools in a safe, fair, and transparent way. Instead of sending all data to a single central system, SEDIMARK works in a decentralised way. This means data stays close to where it is created (for example, in a city, company, or research centre), and only what is needed is shared under clear rules. Before data is shared, it is:

  • Cleaned and checked for quality
  • Properly described so others understand it
  • Protected through anonymisation and security measures

This makes sure that data is useful, trustworthy, and privacy-respecting.
This Marketplace can be set up locally or regionally, allowing different organisations to operate their own marketplace while still following common European principles for data sharing. SEDIMARK empowers data-driven decisions, and you can:

  • Expand access to open data and public services.
  • Position yourself as an innovation leader.
  • Benefit from ready-to-use toolboxes.
  • Generate new revenue streams.

DefendSphere: AI-powered compliance & cybersecurity platform for SMEs

DefendSphere (Spain) is reshaping how organisations approach cybersecurity and compliance. DefendSphere is an AI-driven cybersecurity compliance platform that helps organisations automate governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes. The SaaS platform integrates attack surface intelligence and third-party monitoring to help businesses secure smarter and comply faster.

For most small and mid-sized businesses, staying compliant with today’s fast-changing cybersecurity regulations is a losing battle. Even large corporations with dedicated teams struggle to keep up with frameworks like GDPR, DORA, and NIS2. That reality inspired DefendSphere, a new AI-driven cybersecurity compliance SaaS founded by a team of industry professionals.
The service identifies vulnerabilities, assesses risks, and monitors compliance with major standards, including GDPR, NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, by reducing compliance preparation time from months to days and lowering audit costs by up to 70%.

DefendSphere gives businesses a real-time understanding of their security posture and helps them make decisions based on data, not guesswork. Built on a cloud-native, multi-tenant architecture, DefendSphere’s infrastructure can support thousands of concurrent users while maintaining full data isolation and encryption in GDPR-compliant European data centers.
