On 22 January 2026, INPACE organised the second Ask Us Anything online session. This interactive event was designed to encourage transparent exchanges, provide practical insights, and reinforce collaboration among actors involved in EU-Indo-Pacific digital cooperation.
During this one-hour session, participants were able to:
- Get a clear understanding of the INPACE initiative, its objectives, and long-term vision
- Engage directly with the INPACE team through open questions and discussion
- Identify concrete opportunities to collaborate with INPACE and connect with key regional stakeholders
The session featured a presentation by Dr. Svetlana Klessova, INPACE Project Coordinator from G.A.C. Group, who introduced the initiative’s background, mission, and main activities. She explained the strategic relevance of INPACE in strengthening digital ties between the EU and Indo-Pacific partners and supporting cross-regional innovation and policy dialogue.
A key highlight was the presentation of the INPACE Hub, positioned as the central entry point for EU-Indo-Pacific digital collaboration. Svetlana detailed the Hub’s services, benefits, and key figures, demonstrating how it enables networking, visibility, and cooperation across regions. Through the INPACE Hub, members can engage with leading technology and policy experts, explore funding and partnership opportunities, promote events, launch joint research and innovation initiatives, and even position themselves or their projects as speakers at events in Europe, Japan, India, Singapore, and South Korea.
The session also provided an overview of INPACE’s ongoing and upcoming activities, including:
- Thematic Working Groups supporting focused collaboration
- Pilot projects and opportunities for stakeholder involvement
- Virtual fairs and webinars showcasing digital solutions and innovations
- The 2nd EU-Japan Digital Week 2026, a flagship event for digital cooperation
The event concluded with an engaging Q&A segment, during which participants raised insightful questions on collaboration pathways, participation in pilot projects, and ways to engage in the upcoming EU-Japan Digital Week 2026.
For those who were unable to attend or wish to revisit the session, the recording and presentation slides are now available on the INPACE Hub.
Many thanks to all participants for their active involvement and valuable contributions, and looks forward to continuing the dialogue through future sessions and collaborative initiatives!
