On 25 September 2026, INPACE hosted its third Ask Us Anything session, bringing together stakeholders interested in digital cooperation between Europe and the Indo-Pacific region for an interactive online exchange.
This third edition placed a particular focus on INPACE results and concrete outputs, while also looking at the opportunities available for researchers, innovators, industry representatives, policymakers, and projects to engage with the initiative and its community.
From INPACE results to concrete opportunities
The session provided an overview of the INPACE initiative, its mission and latest developments, before taking a closer look at some of the activities and results developed within the project.
Participants learned more about the INPACE Hub and its role in connecting stakeholders and facilitating collaboration between Europe and the Indo-Pacific, as well as the initiative’s Thematic Working Groups and Clusters.
The session also highlighted the INPACE Virtual Fair, which provides a dedicated environment for showcasing technologies and innovations to audiences across Europe and the Indo-Pacific. The INPACE Peer Advisory Network, as well as opportunities for projects and organisations to increase the visibility of their technologies and activities through INPACE, were presented.
Another focus was INPACE’s pilot projects, which aim to move from dialogue to action by creating concrete opportunities for interaction and cooperation around key digital technology areas.
How can stakeholders get involved?
Beyond presenting project results, the session focused on a key question: how can stakeholders engage with INPACE and benefit from the opportunities it creates?
Participants discovered different ways to become involved – from showcasing projects, technologies and expertise through INPACE channels and activities, to connecting with relevant stakeholders, contributing to events and thematic discussions, and exploring opportunities for new collaborations.
The discussion also looked at how stakeholder engagement through INPACE can contribute to the initiative’s broader mission of supporting the implementation of the EU’s Digital Partnerships with Japan, South Korea and Singapore, as well as the Trade and Technology Council with India, by helping translate shared digital priorities into concrete cooperation.
Looking ahead: India and the INPACE Final Event
The session also provided a look at two important upcoming opportunities for the INPACE community.
The India-EU Digital Cooperation Conference 2026, taking place on 2–3 November 2026 in New Delhi, will bring together policymakers, researchers, innovators and business leaders to advance cooperation between India and the European Union across key digital technology areas.
Looking further ahead, the INPACE Final Event – “Future of Digital Partnerships with the Indo-Pacific”, taking place on 20–21 May 2027 in Brussels, will showcase INPACE results and its legacy, bring together Digital Partnership stakeholders from across regions and technology domains, and explore opportunities for future collaboration beyond the lifetime of the project.
The session concluded with a Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with the INPACE team and discuss the initiative, its activities and opportunities for involvement.
The third Ask Us Anything session once again provided a space not only to share INPACE’s progress, but also to connect its results with the stakeholders who can help turn digital cooperation between Europe and the Indo-Pacific into concrete and lasting collaboration.
