Please briefly introduce your organization.
One of the leading technological institutes in India, IIT Guwahati was established in 1994 under the Indian Institutes of Technology Act. The institute provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in engineering, science, humanities, and management, as well as interdisciplinary research centers and facilities. IIT Guwahati has a dynamic campus spread over 285 hectares on the Brahmaputra River bank, with modern infrastructure and amenities. The institute strives for excellence in education, research, innovation, and social impact, and aims to cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship and global citizenship among its students and faculty.
What is your organization’s role in the project? What unique contribution does it bring to the team?
As a key partner in the INPACE project, IITG brings unique contributions in the areas of digital technologies and sustainable ecosystems. Our expertise in digital transformation, particularly within the thematic areas of process industries, smart cities, digitalization for sustainable ecosystems, and health and secure living, positions us to drive forward the project objectives. We leverage our extensive research capabilities and innovation-driven approach to enhance the development and commercialization of digital solutions, ensuring their relevance and sustainability.
