SUMMARY:Emerging technologies in Advanced Computation\, Advanced Functionalities\, Ground-breaking Technologies: Impact on International Cooperation
DESCRIPTION:European Solid-State Device Research Conference\nThe aim of ESSERC is to provide an annual European forum for the presentation and discussion of recent advances in solid-state devices and circuits. The level of integration for system-on-chip design is rapidly increasing. This is made available by advances in semiconductor technology. Therefore\, more than ever before\, a deeper interaction among technologists\, device experts\, IC designers and system designers is necessary. \nThe conference format is four days\, running from Monday to Thursday: \n\nMonday: Tutorials and Workshops\nTuesday-Wednesday-Thursday: Technical sessions\n\nBesides the lunches and coffee breaks\, the social activities include a Welcome Cocktail on Tuesday evening and a Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening. \n​The Conference technical program includes:  \n\n9 keynote presentations on circuits/design aspects\, semiconductor technology and joint technologies and devices topics\nA grand cru selection of research papers in the domains of IC design and semiconductor device development\nPresentation of IEEE and Awards\nESS Gala Dinner on Wednesday\, September 11\nTutorials and Workshops\n\n​The venue of the conference events\, including workshops and tutorials\, will be in the center of Bruges (Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre -BMCC- Beursplein 1\, 8000 Bruges). \nINPACE at the ESSERC: Workshop on Emerging technologies in Advanced Computation\, Advanced Functionalities\, Ground-breaking Technologies: Impact on International Cooperation\nThe INPACE consortium\, more specifically the SINANO Institute\, will be hosting Workshop 4 on Emerging technologies in Advanced Computation\, Advanced Functionalities\, Ground-breaking Technologies: Impact on International Cooperation alongside other organisations such as International Cooperation On Semiconductors (ICOS). \nThe programme includes the following sessions: \n\nHorizon Europe ICOS-International Cooperation On Semiconductors\, and INPACE-Indo-Pacific-European Hub for Digital Partnerships\nSmart sensors for IoT\nEnergy harvesting for autonomous systems\nInnovative materials for power devices\nScaling semiconductor photonics – The trends and the challenges\nEmerging semiconductors meet new applications: security\, multi-valued computing\, and hazard monitoring\nNew nanodevices architectures for advanced compute\nBeyond Von Neumann computing architectures and Heterogeneous integration\nEmerging Material Integration for Advanced Functionality of Semiconductor Devices and Systems\n\n  \nRegister here \n
