In this context, we are organising the 2-day <strong>EU-Indo-Pacific Digital Partnership Conference <\/strong>in <strong>Singapore, <\/strong>on <strong>28-29 October 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The EU-Indo-Pacific Digital Partnership Conference 2025 will bring together policy makers, researchers, innovators, and business leaders to discuss and advance the cooperation between the European Union and the Indo-Pacific countries in the field of digital technologies and their application.<\/p>\n<p>The EU aims to strengthen the existing digital partnerships, exploit synergies between them, and establish new ones. The signing of the EU-Singapore Digital Trade Agreement (EUSDTA) on 7 May 2025 marks a milestone in the cooperation between the EU and the Indo-Pacific countries. It provides legal certainty by codifying high-level norms on data protection and source-code safeguards, while reducing compliance frictions for small and medium-sized enterprises. By aligning European regulatory strengths with Singapore\u2019s position as an agile digital innovator, the partnership demonstrates that high data-protection standards can coexist with open markets
